Quota Mechanics

Independent Quotas

Query (/v1/rpc) and transaction (/v1/tx) quotas are completely independent:

• When query quota is exhausted, transaction submission remains available
• When transaction quota is exhausted, query requests remain available

Batch Request Billing

When sending batch JSON-RPC requests via /v1/rpc, each element in the array consumes 1 quota unit. For example, a batch of 10 queries consumes 10 units.

Transaction Method Auto-detection

Transaction methods (eth_sendRawTransaction, eth_sendTransaction) sent through /v1/rpc are automatically detected and count against the transaction quota rather than the query quota.

Quota Exceeded

When request rate exceeds your plan limit, you will receive a 429 rate_limited response with a Retry-After header indicating the recommended wait time in seconds.
